Crystal-clear water. Unpolluted natural environment. Routes suited to experts and beginners. Adventure and fun up close with nature. This means going rafting on the River Brenta and experiencing the thrills of going down the river with a group of friends or with your family. By day or night. With modules customised according to your needs. Waves, rapids, reversals, and pools of water in which to plunge will enliven your weekend discovering the river with activities worked out specially for you. All immersed in the tranquillity of the Valley of the Brenta, where everything is history, nature and relaxation.
After descending the river, there is nothing better than a tasting of Morlacco del Grappa, the traditional cheese with a very old history produced by craftsmen in the valley's cheese factories.
For lovers of potholing, there is a guided tour in the Grotte di Oliero caves, located at the source of the river of the same name, one of the largest karst springs in Europe. In the park you can go further by boat to admire the lofty walls of rock and the wide range of mountain flora.
In August we suggest watching the Palio delle Zattere raft race, a contest between the hamlets and countryside of Valstagna (the "Paese delle Zattere", raft country), which battle for the prestigious trophy by racing on the waters of the Brenta, over a section that is striking and picturesque.
The tour operator suggests:
Rafting on the River Brenta (with use of equipment included), dinner based on traditional produce, overnight stay in the area of San Nazario in a double room and B&B service, guided tours of the Oliero caves. Possibility of visiting the Tobacco Museum at Carpanè in San Nazario. Cost from € 145,00 a head.
